Sorrenteaux Boards in Lakeview specializes in Elevated Artisan Charcuterie, themed grazing boards, and party platters. We also offer loaded teas, a small lunch menu, and seasonal retail and gifts.
We are looking for one Charcuterie Assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about Customer Service, someone that can work in fast-paced environment, can multitask and work autonomously, and is excited to learn the signature Sorrenteaux Boards way of assembling a charcuterie board (no experience with charcuterie necessary!)
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- *Ideal candidate has prior Customer Service, retail, and/or food service industry experience. *Experience working in high-volume catering, specialty food sales, and/or related position a plus. *Employee will assist in assembling charcuterie boards, boxes, sandwiches, and loaded teas. *Operate the cash register and assist customers in placing orders online in store. *Maintain a clean and tidy workspace. *Open and close the store (light cleaning, setting up for the day, mise en place for lunch and board orders) *Provide exceptional Customer Service, information to customers about products and offerings, and obtain a ServSafe Food Handler Certificate (course expense will be covered by the company, and can be taken online during shift hours) *Arrives to shifts on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings. *Will be provided with company t-shirts to be worn with long pants (black, khaki, and/or unripped jeans). Close-toed tennis or work shoes required. * Schedule is firm. Must be available to work Wed - Fri, 10:30 am - 4:30 pm, and Saturdays 9:30 am - 3:30 pm, and occasional Sundays when we are busy and/or have large orders to fulfill. We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. *Must be 18 years or older and have transportation to shift.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compensation is $12.00 - $15.00/hour.
