About the Role

NBDF Colorado is looking for a Chapter Program Manager to join our team! This role, reporting to the Executive Director, the Chapter Program Manager, involves spearheading the development, execution, and facilitation of our Chapter’s education & community programs. These programs encompass various initiatives such as Education Days, Mile High Summer Camp, Family Camp, the UNITE for Bleeding Disorders Walk, and Backpacks + Bleeders.


In addition to program oversight, the Chapter Program Manager will lead evaluation efforts, volunteer management, and handle budgeting and reporting related to these programs and events. We are seeking an individual with high energy to mobilize our community and volunteers, driving forward the chapter’s objectives.


Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Organizing, coordinating, and managing all aspects of existing program activities and events, ensuring a seamless journey from conception to completion. This involves guaranteeing their smooth and efficient operation while meeting the specific needs of our target audience.
  • Manage and meticulously tracking revenues and expenditures related to programs and events. Additionally, aiding the Executive Director in preparation of budgets.
  • Maintaining program registration through various platforms and other applicable resources to ensure efficient participant registration.
  • Spearheading the recruitment, screening, and coordination of volunteers for various programs & activities.
  • Overseeing the Mile High Summer Camp, communication with camper parents, vendors and clinical staff, and developing the program in partnership with camp venue.
  • Assisting with chapter communications, includes newsletters, social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter), and website management, ensuring effective and engaging outreach.
  • Collaborating on industry requests and reports, actively contributing to the development of strong relationships with our industry partners.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of event supplies and implementing timely restocking schedules to ensure seamless event operations.
  • Cultivating strong, empathic, and professional relationships with constituents of the Colorado Chapter of the National Bleeding Disorder Foundation, such as the Hemophilia Treatment Center clinical team.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:

What You Bring:

For this unique opportunity, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills, education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years related experience in nonprofit, education, social services, or healthcare field.
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and social media (proficiency in WordPress a plus).
  • Program development and facilitation experience.
  • Ability to organize, project manage, and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to present information effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with platforms such as Bloomerang, Firespring, Certify and Dropbox is plus.

Where You Will Work:

This is a hybrid role and does require he candidate to reside in the state of Colorado; with the ability to travel to the local Chapter office 2-3 time a week, and to chapter events and activities. Nights and weekends for chapter events will be required.

Compensation:

We have carefully considered industry benchmarks, the experience required for this position, and internal salary comparisons to determine the appropriate salary range for this role. For this position, NBDF has set a starting base salary range $46,000- $55,200 and it is non-negotiable due to our company's commitment to maintaining internal pay equity. This approach ensures that we maintain a fair and consistent compensation structure across the organization.
