This role focuses on assessing change impact, driving adoption and increasing utilization and proficiency with the changes that impact teams and employees. This role will work in partnership with Store Operations leadership to support necessary cultural transformation and drive high levels of employee engagement, accountability, and communication.
Your Planning & Navigating Requirements
Supports Leadership in the prioritization of key strategic initiatives that require change management practicesDefine, develop, and document change management processes and impact initiatives programs across Stores by, creating foundational implementation plans, documentation, and training materials; facilitates meetings to determine specific behaviors necessary for driving sustainable business benefits of change programs
Provides awareness to the Co-op around Change Management practices
Develop and direct the implementation and support for change management strategy and impact initiatives for Stores under the direction of senior leadership by, assessing key opportunities (for example, implementation history, change agent capacity, change sponsorship); communicating change management plans to senior management; leveraging resources to implement strategies through cross-functional teams; identifying and leading resolution of opportunities for process improvements and aligning activities with overall plans to ensure successful change management implementation.
Creates and implements Change, Training and Communication plans according to the defined strategies
Assess the change impact, conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders
Support training efforts, provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs
Facilitates and leads collaborative cross-functional meetings
Leads change management activities driven by the business
- 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Change Management, Communications, Operations, or Talent
- Experience in retail, service industry or branded organization.
- 4 year degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field and / or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years’ experience with change management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, role mapping, organization design, readiness assessment, resistance management, etc.)
- Certification in program management, Change Management (e.g. Prosci, Kotter, etc.), and/or project management (e.g. PMP) preferred
- Experience in Project management skills including ability to create action plans and timelines, manage multiple programs simultaneously and complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Experience in consultation with executives; demonstrated ability to communicate (influence, present data) at executive level.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Windows.
- Actively participates and collaborates with others on one's own team and across REI for the achievement of business goals.
- Uses business knowledge, innovative thinking, consulting skills and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunities.
- Considers the ultimate impact of decisions and actions on internal and external customers.

Base Pay Range: USD $83,700.00 - USD $134,000.00 /Yr.
