Responsibilities:

• - Operate and maintain machines in a manufacturing environment
• - Monitor machine operations to ensure quality control standards are met
• - Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal working condition
• - Load steel coil onto un-coilers using crane.
• - Read and interpret blueprints to set up machines for specific tasks
• - Use various tools and equipment, such as lathes and press brake machines, to shape and form materials
• - Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.
• - Gather products, strap them into bundles, place bundles on wagon/A frame racks and apply identification.

Requirements:

• - Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role preferred
• - Knowledge of machining techniques and processes
• - Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
• - Familiarity with CAD software, such as SolidWorks, is a plus
• - Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
• - Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently
• - Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
• - Ability to properly use measuring equipment such as tape measures (imperial and metric), calipers, micrometers, etc.
• - Knowledge of hand tools such as tin snips, allen keys, screw drivers, hammers, etc
• - Personal attributes include ethical, open-minded, observant, and tenacious.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
