THE ROLE
- Manage the company's cash flow daily
- Advise ownership/upper management on the desirability of financing options and time of capital acquisitions
- Budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, P&L management
- Oversee the budget and financial strategies
- Allocate funds for current and future projects
- Forecast future revenue needs
- Analyze expected revenue streams
- Advise ownership/upper management on desirable operational adjustments due to changes in business environment
- Oversight/leadership/mentorship of a small accounting team that manages AP/AR/Payroll/Collections
- Assist in developing/implementing operational best practices that support the organization’s short- and long-term financial goals
- Oversee existing cash strategy, including - Debt Placement, Investments, and overall cash flow
- Ensure a consistent, risk-balanced financial strategy remains in place to support company goals in an ever-changing business environment
PREFERRED CANDIDATE
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA/CPA preferred
- 10+ years of high-level finance experience
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial analysis, risk management, strategic planning
- Compliance with regulatory standards is vital
- Cost accounting experience is a huge plus
- Forward-looking, with a strategic thought process that can be balanced with self-performed responsibilities
- Work in an office-type environment, with field exposure to construction and industrial-type environments as needed
