TITLE: CFM Portfolio Project Manager
TYPE: Full-time, On-Site preferred. Hybrid at discretion of Hiring Manager.
LOCATION: 8521 Leesburg Pike, Suite 503, Vienna, Virginia 22182.
POSITION OVERVIEW
SteerBridge seeks a highly motivated, experienced and versatile professional to add to our
Construction and Facilities Management (CFM) Portfolio team. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for providing short-term and long-range project plans that deliver efficient and
effective project delivery to federal government stakeholders to ensure the organization’s success
and vision. This is an outward-facing role which will require interacting directly with project
managers and federal customers on various projects.
The CFM Project Manager will have end-to-end responsibility for federal facilities programs and
oversight of contractors serving in numerous roles in complex constructions projects (planning,
design, construction, occupancy, and closeout). Additional responsibilities include but are not
limited to tracking project progress and delivery, assisting in the background process for new
contractors, business development from capture to delivery, hours and project delivery tracking for
invoicing purposes, customer relation building, and oversight of multiple CFM positions across the
United States.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or similar experience (6+ years) leading a team and managing multiple large- scale projects simultaneously. PMP Certification preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Together with the CFM Portfolio Team, work alongside partner companies to deliver on projects ranging from Construction Management, full-service Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) enterprise solutions (FM:SYSTEMS) and other facilities projects, and provide support services to effectively manage government real estate portfolios.
This position requires frequent communication with all contractors, partners, and customers and occasional onsite presence at locations to further enhance relationships and ensure successful project delivery.
The CFM PM will:
• Work cooperatively with ENGA/ARCH and other customer stakeholders including Human Resources and
Information Technology teams on the implementation of projects.
• Be responsible for all project deliverables and coordination of quality reviews of materials before delivery to Customer; ensure compliance with the PM/FM Administrator’s and Customer’s quality programs.
• Provide adequate staff and budget control to complete project tasks within the agreed Task Order budget and schedule.
• Provide guidance and advice on standard tasks required to update the space management database including staff positioning, data input, workspaces, desk reservation application, mobile applications, and system operations.
• Utilize FM:Systems Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) software tool to support customer required tasks and updates.
• Provide interface with customer’s FM:Systems Platform to develop parameters, data input, and reporting matrices; respond to customer questions and requests regarding the FM:Systems platform.
• Conduct bi-weekly project meetings with the Customer Task Manager, staff, and contractors to provide updates on task order progress.
• Attend meetings Customers to support ongoing project delivery.
• Track and submit Hours and Deliverables for invoicing.
• Business development for the CFM portfolio for full lifecycle from capture to delivery, including proposal writing.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the CFM Portfolio Manager and CFM Program Manager.
