Certified Sterile Processing Technician

STERILE PROCESSING TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY:

Provides clean and sterile supplies and equipment through decontamination, preparation, sterilization, storage and distribution of surgical instruments and equipment utilizing infection control and safety practices during all phases of the process under the direction of a Unit Manager/Supervisor.

STERILE PROCESSING TECHNICIAN HIGHLIGHTS:

• Part-time opportunity: 7a - 3:00pm, Tues, Thurs & Friday ONLY
• Contract-to-direct hire opportunity
• The compensation for this position is $29 per hour

STERILE PROCESSING TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED required
• NICHSPDP Certification is required
• Completion of an appropriate Aide training program, a Central Technician program or 6 months previous experience in Central Supply.
• Ability to read, write, add, subtract and read temperature gauges.
