Job Description
The School Psychologist will be responsible for providing a wide range of psychological services tailored to the unique needs of these students, including but not limited to assessment, intervention, counseling, and consultation with parents, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Certified School Psychologist (Certificate of Advanced Study CAS required)
- Possess an Advance Professional Certificate as a School Psychologist from a National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) approved program, Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred
- Experience providing psychological services to school-age children preferred
- Experience with the IEP process, IEP development, and implementation preferred
- Experience working in a public school system preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized psychology services to students with disabilities who have an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and/or an Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- Provide data and progress for goals/objectives
- Maintain accurate records of service delivery, consultation, parent contacts, mileage, etc.
- Plan behavior interventions based on presenting student information
- Serve as a resource to school-based administrators and staff, as well as colleagues.
- Conduct risk assessments, as needed
- Provide crisis intervention services as part of school and county crisis teams
- Modify and adapt instructional materials including the use of assistive technology
- Complete required paperwork in the Maryland Online IEP system including IFSP/IEP development and Quarterly progress reports
- Complete assessments and write reports, as needed
- Independent caseload management (scheduling, providing progress reports, parent communications, etc.) for assigned students
- Travel from school to school
- Attend IFSP/IEP meetings, as needed
- Consult with school staff and other providers for coordination of services
