We are currently recruiting for a CRNA to join our practice in Jacksonville, Florida. These are full-time/ part time positions at UF Health Jacksonville, a 695 bed Level I Trauma Center located in downtown Jacksonville, as well as UF Health North, a brand-new inpatient facility located in northern Jacksonville. Join our Anesthesia Care Team of 30 Anesthesiologists and 40 CRNA’s and CAA’s in a professional, team-oriented environment. Case types are inpatient and outpatient procedures including Trauma, Neurosurgical, Orthopedics, GYN, OMFS, ENT, General, Cardiac (negotiable), Thoracic, Vascular, robotics, OB, occasional pediatrics, etc. Shifts are variable, Monday-Friday 8, 10, 12, and 24 hours, with occasional weekend and holiday call (with pay incentives). Temperament

Training/Support
- Ability to precept and evaluate SRNAs
- Ability to education patients and families regarding anesthetic technique and pain management.
Clinical Duties
- Formulate appropriate anesthetic plan. Initiate and maintain anesthetic plan. Manage emergence and handoff to recovery.
- Ability to intubate, insert hemodynamic monitoring, insert arterial and central venous access and provide post-anesthesia care. Perform neuraxial anesthesia.
- Ability to prioritize work, analyze data, use logic and reasoning, communicate sensitive information, maintain confidential information, maintain diplomacy during conflict, negotiate, meet deadlines, and use process improvement to manage fluctuating and unpredictable workload.
- Ability to objectively and thoroughly evaluate patients preoperatively and obtain consults as necessary.
Education Requirements
Masters Nurse Anesthesia Required
Certification/Licensure Requirements:
PALS Certified required at time of hire
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required at time of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire
