Personal Trainer Position
Women In Strength is looking for a femalePersonal Trainer with an active personal training certification. We're looking for someone who enjoys working both one on one and in group settings and is a team player!

- Promote and enhance the training experience for clients.

- Provide clients with a positive experience that is open-minded, educational, and inspiring for clients to continue towards their goals
Personal Trainer Responsibilities
- Design customized workout plans for clients based on their goals, current fitness level, and physical abilities
- Create workouts that are both safe and effective for the clients’ training sessions
- Maintain a clean and safe environment to work in for self, clients, and other coaches.
- Independently manage schedule of current and prospective clients
- Contact and set up consultations with prospective clients
- Conduct an initial consultation with prospective clients to gain information on their goals, current activities, injuries, etc. to properly build a fitness plan for them.
- Build value and retention with clients through communication platforms - text, email, phone calls
- Assisting in events, clinics/workshops, promotional tables - promoting and highlighting what Women In Strength has to offer.
Education/Experience Qualifications Desired:
- Accredited certification through NASM, NSCA, ISSA, AFPA, or other.
- Minimum of 2 years in an exercise science / kinesiology degree program OR 1 year experience as a Personal Trainer
- Internship with a fitness facility - personal training, strength and conditioning, group training
- CPR / First-Aid certified
Qualities Desired:
- Must be punctual - arrive on time (5-10 minutes before session) and start and end client sessions on time
- Attentive to clients - listening to their needs, paying attention to them during their sessions, no use of phone unless to use as a timer or review their workout program
- Friendly to all clients whether they are their own or not
- Dresses appropriately - leggings, capris, or long shorts. Tank tops, t-shirts, etc
- Self-motivated, able to motivate clients, confident in working with others in individual and group settings
Hours + Compensation:
- Looking for a Personal Trainer to pick up about 5-15 hours per week to start, there is big opportunity to go full-time.
- Compensation is based on the trainer's level of experience as well as the package/contract that the client is purchasing. Average pay is $30-50 per session

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
