Social Service Technician - SSTII

Job Requirements
Social Service Tech II -SSTII

• 1 year of Mental Health experience
• Must be a Certified Peer Specialist
• 1 year relapse free recovery
• Diagnose (Substance Abuse or Mental Health)
• High School Diploma/GED

• Must be able to work with Mental Health as well as Substance Abuse clients
• Introduce new clients/admissions to Crisis Center and the available services
• Must meet with the individuals one on one
• Must perform group and activities
• Complies with ATC policies/procedures.
• Complies with client facility policies/procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Communicates information effectively to appropriate personnel.
• Assists with collection of specimens; takes and records vital signs; and assists with feeding of patients.
• Documents patient care as assigned in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Follows the patient's treatment plan as assigned.
• Maintains competency by participating in continuing education programs and meets state specific requirements.
