RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting in evaluations and providing appropriate goals for residents
Continued support of goal achievement
Helping patients in their restoration of wellness and independence
Setting goals for mobility, function, and independence
Communication with other personnel involved in the patient's care to promote a coordinated care plan
The application of various therapeutic techniques to help achieve goals
REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum approved by the American Occupational Therapy Associates
Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania
Long-term care experience preferred
