Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with supervising OTR, plans and manages program to ensure IEP goals are met.
- Provides training to the appropriate persons to carry over therapy goals in the school setting.
- Maintains equipment for program.
- Provides services including: self-help, functional mobility, environmental adaptations/adaptive equipment, positioning, motor functions, sensory processing, provocation/vocational skills.
- Functions as a team member for MEEGs/IEPs and maintains contact with school, family, physicians, and agencies as needed.
- In collaboration with supervising OTR, screens, evaluates, and reassesses to develop IEP.
- Schedules students for evaluation and treatment.
- To ensure continuity of services, remote work may be necessary in the event of a health crisis or disruptive situation that requires the closing of school and/or office buildings. An employee's eligibility for remote work will be determined by the superintendent of schools. Expectations and guidelines for remote work will be distributed by the employee's supervisor, based on his/her role and responsibilities.
- Performs all other tasks as supervisor may assign.
