Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - PT - Crosby Commons

United Methodist Homes, a non-profit senior living organization serving its -140-year mission to provide relationship-centered care, is currently seeking 2* Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA) * candidates for Part Time positions to work on our Wesley Village campus in our Crosby Commons community located in Shelton, CT.

2 Part Time Positions: Work Saturday/Sunday every other weekend.

Shift Times:

• Day Shift: 6am - 2pm
• Flexible Evening Schedule: 2:00pm-10:00pm or 2:30pm-10:30pm or 3:00pm-11:00pm.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Assisting residents with daily and periodic personal care needs.
• Providing nutrition and caring for needs of residents.
• Obtaining temperatures, pulses, respiration, blood pressures, heights, weights, and other unit specific routines.
• Contributing to effective communication with residents and other staff members.
• Other related tasks, as assigned.

Requirements:

• Current Connecticut Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, in good standing.
• Genuine love and respect for seniors.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• Willingness to undergo a complete background check, including physical and drug screen.
