Divine Care LLC is a small residential assisted living licensed facility with two locations in Burnsville, MN and Apple Valley, MN. Our Burnsville location currently has four residents. Divine Care LLC is primarily engaged in providing personalized medical assistance and therapeutic services through person-centered care for adults. We have a staff of highly trained nurses, home-Health Aides, and Certified Nursing Assistants who work to optimize the physical, mental, spiritual, and social wellbeing of our residents while providing quality medical service and attentive support. We are looking for CNAs or HHAs for part-time positions. We also have trainers/nurses here who can train those without certifications or with no experience in healthcare and receive your Home Health Aide certificate once you complete that training and start working with us.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding.
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers.
- Assist clients with treatments and/or health related services, as delegated by licensed staff.
- Set up and maintain patient rooms and equipment.
- Collect specimens for testing and perform basic laboratory procedures.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Document patient information in electronic health records systems such as eClinicalWorks or Cerner.
- Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with homemaking activities such as laundry, cleaning rooms and bathrooms, putting away groceries.
- Provide care for patients with special needs or behavioral health conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Preferred completion of a Nursing Assistant training program and have active Nursing Assistant certification and be on the MN registry.
- Experience working with adults is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
