Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 1x AM ( Multiple positions Available)
EMR: AHT
CNA Pay rate:
Local: $23/hr.
Travel no Housing: $13/hr. taxed + $432/wk. tax-free travel stipend (13/12)
** Must be 50 miles away from permanent residence to qualify for housing allowance**
Job Summary:
• Provides direct and indirect resident care under the direction of RN or LVN.
• Providing physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed
• Ensuring patients or residents receive appropriate diet
• Measuring and recording food and liquid intake
• Recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate
• Reminding patients to take medications and nutritional supplements.
• Stay up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure.
• Ability to think and work independently and with direction
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English; both verbal and written.
Requirements:
• Resume
• Nursing license –Active CNA California
• Minimum of 1 Year experience
• Current BLS Certification/ within 90-days of hire
• Skills checklist
• 2current supervisor references
• Physical (within the last 12 months)
• PPD (within the last 12 months)
• MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap/Flu (or decline)
• CNA Exams
• Copy or driver’s license and SS card
• Must be able to pass background/ urine drug screen
