Day in the Life of a Certified Med Tech:

• Administers prescribed medications to residents and maintains related medical records
• Takes vital signs or observes residents to detect response to specified types of medications
• May record and restock medications and medical supply inventories on the nursing care units
• Maintains current knowledge of and adherence to all applicable policies and procedures established by the Board of Directors and Management

*** Note: This position is NOT for Level 1 Medical Techs ***

Requirements:

• Valid state license(s)
• Excellent verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• High integrity and well-grounded work ethic
• Agility and flexibility with changing priorities
• Team-oriented and a practical team-player
• Professional demeanor
• At least one year experience providing care and services in long-term care (preferred)
