Position: Certified Medical Interpreter (Independent Contractor) - All Languages Welcome

Languages of immediate need: On-site Korean, Vietnamese, Spanish, Russian, Arabic & American Sign Language

Partners are required to have completed a 40 Hour Medical Language Course and be certified in their language of expertise.

Description/Scope of Position:

• Provide over the phone, video, or onsite interpretation service for patients during their medical appointments, including medical procedures, physical therapy, medical consultations, etc.
• Skills Needed - 40 Hour Medical Language Certificate in your language of expertise (Visit www.medtransgo.com/interpretation to learn more about getting your Medical Language Certificate)
• Flexible; Only pick up the sessions that work for your schedule
• MedTrans Go also offers an InterpretationNOW feature where customers can book a phone/video interpretation session to launch within five minutes. This feature allows our Interpretation Partners to pick up additional sessions to fill any gaps in their schedule.

Type of Job: Independent Contractor (Freelance)

Minimum Level of Education: Medical Language Certificate (Minimum 40 Hour Course)

Time Commitment: Hours vary based on the needs of clients. Typical hours are from 7AM-6 PM M-F. Appointments may fall outside of these hours, and there may be some weekend requests.
