### Responsibilities:
- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting patient history, and assisting with examinations
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist with medical coding and documentation

- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and verifying insurance information

### Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs and documenting patient information
- Knowledge of medical coding principles and practices
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures
- Familiar with Health insurance plans and authorizations
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and scheduling
