Our client in Greenwich, CT has an immediate opening for a Certified Medical Assistant. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Our client is open to candidates available on either a temporary or permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Vital signs, BP, pulse, temperature, etc.
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Scheduling of all medical procedures
- Write out prescriptions for physical therapy, tests, etc.
- Prepare patient charts
- Prepare rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize & clean instruments
- Take inventory of medical materials and supplies
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2 year clinical experience
- Phlebotomy exp a plus
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a Certified Medical Assistant
