Job Duties

- Provide overall support for Physicians and office operations

- Experience working in a sterile environment

- Prepares patients for examination and treatment

- Takes patient histories and vital signs

- Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments

- Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization

- Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments

- Screens telephone calls for referral to physician

- Prepares equipment and supplies to assist medical provider in the treatment, examination, and testing of patients

- Ensures patient is appropriately prepared for care encounter, anticipates patients/providers needs

- Receives documents, prioritizes and responds to incoming calls as appropriate

- Efficient use of EMR system

- Assists physician in office procedures

Job Requirements

EDUCATION
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program

EXPERIENCE
One (1) year of experience in a physician practice or clinic setting is required

Bilingual Spanish/English is a MUST
