Certified Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:

- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, documenting patient information, and assisting with medical examinations
- Draw up injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with minor surgical procedures and provide post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and medications
- Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle medical administrative tasks

Travel to Edison office Twice a week. Must have reliable transportation.

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patients' conditions
- Proficient in taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately
- Familiarity with hospital procedures and protocols for patient care
- Basic life support (BLS) certification to respond to medical emergencies
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing processes
- Excellent patient service skills to provide compassionate care and support
- Ability to provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records

Pay: $19.50 - $24.00 per hour
