The primary purpose of this job is to oversee the daily functions of medical oncology and surgical oncology clinics, including appointment scheduling, office reception, and telephone triage, facilitating patient flow, registration and insurance verification, assisting with the precertification process,
This position also supports the clinical operations of the Practice, with possible rotation to other clinical departments within the cancer center, including direct patient care, and performing specialized medical procedure such as assisting with exams, processing specimens, phlebotomy, vital signs, maintaining clinic supplies,
Monday Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:00am -4:30pm or 8:30am -5:00pm,
Required:
- Completion of a formal nurse assistance training program and Certified Medical Assistant
- Experience:
- At least six months experience
- Certification/Licensure:
- Venipuncture/EKG preferred
- Must have BCLS
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills, leadership, time management and problem-solving skills are required

Will stock and clean rooms on a daily basis.

Accepts role as a preceptor to new employees.
Works with others to form a plan of care and good outcome for the patients.

We have 3 physician 2 mid-levels with 50-65 patients daily,
