As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting medical administrative functions. ### Responsibilities:
- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer basic life support when necessary
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing billing and coding processes
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and medical history
- Assist with medication administration under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, providing information, and offering support
### Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Medical Assistant
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of coding processes is a plus
