North Andover Women's Care is a busy Obstetrics and Gynecology office that is seeking a full time Medical Assistant. Experience in OB-GYN specialty desired but not necessary.
Responsibilites:
- Assists providers with patient preparation, chart abstraction and treatment
- Greets and rooms patient in accordance with established protocols
- Obtains and records vital signs
- Updates medical, family and social history
- Performs medication reconciliation
- Collects and documents laboratory specimens and performs CLIA point-of-care tests
- Ensures exam rooms are prepped and stocked for patient visits
- Answers telephone calls, schedules appointments, and returns messages
- Assists in medication refills per protocol
- Other clinical and administrative duties as assigned
Qualified candidates must:
- Be a Certified Medical Assistant
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrate good organizational skills
- Demonstrate proficient computer skills
- Be dependable with excellent attendance record
- Be willing to work in fast-paced environment
- Be willing to work multiple roles on a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
