Tulsa Generator Services is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and customer service-oriented Generator Technician to join our team.
Position Overview:
- The ideal candidate for this role should be highly motivated, dependable, and have a proven track record of working in the generator service industry.
- This role is responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing generators.
- The Generator Technician will respond to emergency requests and provide onsite assistance with troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of customer-generators.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot generators and determine the necessary repairs and maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Ensure customer satisfaction by responding quickly and professionally to all service requests
- Install, inspect, modify, and repair commercial and residential generators
- Interpret job order details and diagnose, repair, or replace defective components (electrical, mechanical, and fuel systems)
- Collect and analyze data and reports relating to the overall performance and conditions of the generators
- Use specialized tools and test equipment to evaluate generator performance and safety
- Perform preventative maintenance and service on generators
- Document all diagnosis, repair, installation, and maintenance efforts
Qualifications:
- Generac Service Technician License.
- High school degree or equivalent
- 1 year of experience with generator repair and maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and regulations
- Proficiency in the use of high-voltage testing equipment
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
