SalaryEducation: Must possess a valid California teaching credential or valid substitute permit. Must be active on the county-wide substitute list. Salary Information: Substitute daily rate of pay is $250.00 per day for the first 20 days and $300.00 per day as of the 21st day. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice as well as a physical clearance are conditions of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
