Form of workThe Certified-Registered Medical Assistant (MA) provides professional care through the application of skills and processes to assigned patients. This individual provides direct care and works collaboratively with other members of the care team to achieve optimal patient care. This incumbent has access to confidential patient information, provides direct patient care, and functions clinically under the direct supervision of the physician. This incumbent also reports to the practice manager or designee.
Required Education: Graduate of Accredited Program in Medical Assisting or Licensed LPN. Certification through AAMA, AAH, or Registered through AMT.
Experience: Minimum of one year experience in medical office or similar capacity. Medical office experience preferred.
