Lead Lab Technician:
- Rate of Pay: $15.70 + $1.00 in lead pay.
- Location: Northeast El Paso 12001 Railroad Dr, El Paso Tx 79934.
- Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
Job Description:
- Performs lab tests including, but not limited to, inspection of work in progress and finished tile for thickness, size, gloss, color, etc.
- Performs tests of production process and equipment for analytical purposes including kilns.
- Maintains electronic data of testing results.
- Set up Rotocolor equipment for production and supports Rotocolor production runs.
- Inspects product samples to ensure quality standards are met.
- Documents test results.
- Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
- Follows standard operating procedures.
- Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
- Complete all required training, including ergonomic, safety, health and environmental.
- Identify and adjust workstation arrangement, work practices, and workflow to reduce risk factors
- Report issues to supervisor/manager when unable to control risk factor/s.
- Report symptoms of injury/illness and concerns when first noted.
- Participate in incident investigation.
- Use ergonomic equipment provided
- Demonstrate safe work practices.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Promotes and adheres to all safety and health policies and procedures within the plant.
