Adventure Tour Guide

Adventure Hilton Head is currently looking for Adventure Guides for our spring and summer season! At this time, we are looking for part time or full time employees able to work day shifts between Tuesdays and Saturdays. As an Adventure Guide, you will be escorting clients through our high ropes courses or operating our outdoor go kart track. If you love adventuring outdoors, this is the job for you!

Previous guiding experience is certainly welcome but not necessary. All roles will require a high degree of interaction with clients, so applicants should be comfortable performing in a highly interpersonal work environment. Customer service experience is highly preferred. Additionally, our work culture is that of a closely-knit group requiring a high level of trust amongst team members, so expect that your ability to get along with your coworkers and the team will play a large role in your success. A good attitude is a must. We are looking for dependable and responsible applicants as our team relies heavily on each of its members for our success. Punctuality and reliability are extremely important for every role.

Adventure Hilton Head is a fully outdoor facility, and all opportunities will require individuals who can maintain positive energy and comfortability in the outdoors regardless of the weather. Applicants who are not willing to spend their season outdoors during any weather conditions need not apply. Work here is also often physically demanding. Individuals should pursue an active lifestyle.

Basic Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must weigh between 80 and 250 lbs
• Must have full range of motion of both arms and legs and be in good physical and mental health
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US. We are unable to sponsor visas at this time.
• Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Hilton Head Island, SC. We do not offer employee housing or relocation assistance at this time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
