Responsibilities
- Collaborates with department leaders to develop and implement training strategy for Clinical Operations role(s).
- Keeps current with system functionality and how it relates to the role(s) and conducts training when necessary.
- Keeps current with processes and conducts training when needed.
- Develops, maintains, and delivers onboarding training materials and orientation plans for new hires. Provides support and serves as mentor to new hires.
- Conducts skills assessments on learning outcomes and evaluates employee performance to drive engagement & performance. Creates training plans to address skills gaps in employees.
- Works with managers to determine ongoing training needs, develops the training plans and materials, schedules and delivers the training.
- Utilizes productivity reports and other management reports to identify areas for remedial training.
- Assesses best practices along with areas for improvement and provides feedback to department leaders.
- Monitors employee performance and response to training.
- Maintains database of training materials to ensure that training materials are up-to-date and relevant to current processes.
- Maintains and updates applicable section(s) of the Home Health Office Operations Manual to reflect current processes.
- Complies with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required-
- High school diploma
- Two (2+) years' experience in Homecare and/or developing and delivering training.
Preferred-
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, education, business, or a related field.
