We are looking for Central Operations Manager who will manage the centralized operations of deposit-related functions and support. Key functions include but are not limited to Legal Processes, Subpoenas, ACH, Wires, Remote Capture, and Lockbox. The Central Ops Manager ensures the department is operated in accordance with all Regulatory requirements, Bank requirements and goals and that superior customer service is provided by all Central Operations staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The strong candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or five years of relevant baking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) Certification or National Check Payment Certification (NCPC) are preferred.

- Responsible for managing the back-office operations functions in a safe and sound manner, while creating a positive culture of teamwork resulting in superior customer service.
- Monitors staffing levels in Central Operations and plans for scheduling and hiring adjustments as needed.
- Promotes high morale and dedication to one's work amount staff; promotes low absenteeism.
- Clearly defines and directs staff to ensure they are aware of department objectives and the goals of the Bank as a whole.
- Manages and develops direct reporting staff.
- Acts as a mentor to assist Central Operations staff to increase their job skills knowledge and progress to increasing levels of responsibility.
- Conducts employee performance evaluations and provides regular feedback to employees.
- Responsible for the formulation and implementation of operations policies and procedures adhering to bank compliance practices.
- Leads projects and team efforts related to product or service development for the centralized functions.
- Responsible for product training of Bank staff as needed.
- Responsible for proper segregation of duties and internal controls within the Central Operations department.
- Maintains reports to ensure integrity of department records.
- Assists in preparation for internal audits.
