Position Summary
The Central Distribution Driver II is responsible for the driving and delivery functions associated with the supply chain cycle for Member Patrons and Non-Member Patrons of Distribution Cooperative. Functions under the direction of the Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager. Performs other duties as assigned.
This position will work 2pm-10:30pm.
JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Operates semi tractor-trailer truck safely and courteously.
- Drives and delivers product to all supply locations in the Partners Cooperative, Inc. network of hospitals.
- Ensures that medical supplies are accurately and efficiently delivered to requested locations within a hospital location.
- Serves as a point of contact/customer service professional for hospital’s receiving personnel, either solving or delivering input/customer concerns back to DCI Warehouse Manager and other pertinent personnel.
- Performs other activities which are inclusive, but not limited to responsibilities with receiving warehousing, distribution, and the supply replenishment process.
- Assists in administrating and performing cycle counts.
- Directs picks, drives, and delivers Code Reds.
- Resolves and expedites receipt discrepancies and unacceptable commodities.
- Inputs disbursements into Distribution Software System.
- Provides customer service and proofs and tracks daily inventory discrepancies.
- Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and teams.
- Participates in supporting the organization’s vision, mission and values and adheres to DCI’s Standards of Behavior.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of DCI.
Experience:
- Two years in a warehouse/distribution environment preferred.
- Inventory skills in an automated warehousing, receiving and inventory environment is a must.
- Two years of delivery truck operation, including driving and offloading pallets
- Other: Must have basic personal computer skills.
- Valid GA Driver’s License.
- Clean 3 Year Motor Vehicle Report.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License is required.
Job Qualifications
Education: High School Graduate
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Must be in good physical condition. Heavy lifting required (50 – 75 pounds). Frequent walking, sitting, bending, pulling and standing required. Limited exposure to bio-hazardous substances. Works indoors and outdoors. Operation of electrical equipment, dollies, other various warehouse equipment.

Pay: From $28.85 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
