The Center Supervisor provides daily supervision of all aspects of internal center activity. Manage specific administrative functions related to the operations of the center as assigned. Serve as a liaison with vendors, staff and patients. Provide supervision of front-desk staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Reporting directly to the Center Manager or Senior Center Manager.
Performance Responsibilities:
Direct supervision of Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist, collaborative supervision with Director of Care coordination/ LADC Supervisor of Care Coordinators and LADC I & II.
- Manage the daily clinic operations to ensure the corporate goals of service, associate engagement, and patient experience that were established by the Center Manager are accomplished.
- Maintain a culture that focuses on the patients' needs and customer service.
- Manage patient experience excellence by ensuring that all patient encounters consist of quality and safe care, exemplary customer service, and that the patient care experience encourages patient engagement, to ultimately reach the desired patient experience.
- Monitor and manage daily patient flow.
- Coordinate the functions and activities of the center including IT systems, materials management and inventory, data processing and maintenance issues.
- Participate in the development of center goals, objectives, and processes with Center Manager.
- Facilitate staff meetings and regular review of clinic metrics with all clinical staff.
- Foster initiative, motivation and positive morale within the center staff through utilization of the rewards and recognition program and participation in Culture Committee sponsored events.
- Maintain standards of quality care and report any issues to Center Manager or Senior Center Manager.
- Assist the Center Manager in developing operational plans to assure medical and logistical viability and to fulfill the centers’ goals and objectives in a coordinated, effective and efficient manner.
- Assist Center Manager with team member evaluations and development goals.
- Resolve conflicts which occur in the center, in conjunction with Center Manager or People Services, assist in formal corrective action process when necessary
- Resolve problems related to staffing, utilization of facilities, equipment and supplies.
- Analyze systems and procedures in the center and recommend changes to improve work flow and efficiency.
- Outreach as requested by Center Manager and Sr Center Manager.
- Maintain and compile statistics when necessary or upon the request of the senior management.
- Recommend center facility improvements including construction, renovation and purchase of equipment.
- Review building, grounds, facilities and equipment and recommend changes needed to maintain consistent standards of safety, sanitation, efficiency and appearance.
- Help interpret corporate policies, center objectives and center and operational procedures for team members.
- Orient new MA/MR personnel to specific center
- Consult with Center Manager, Compliance, Human Resources and Clinical Quality team to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality.
