Once Upon a Childcare is seeking an experienced Director who has a true passion for the ECE field. As an Early Childhood Education Director, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our childcare center and maintaining our "one-of-a-kind" program. It is your responsibility to ensure a safe and educational environment for all children in care, manage and mentor teaching staff, oversee the development and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, greet and communicate with parents, adhere to all licensing rules and regulations, and uphold the centers sterling reputation. We are looking for an individual that is eager to maintain a positive efficient work environment and create long-lasting relationships with parents and staff! We love our teachers, and we love our families! We offer a special and unique environment with great staff, wonderful families, and amazing children. The Director must be a self-starter who loves to interact and be a part of all aspects of the program. OUAC is looking for someone who is kind, loving, motivated, and loves being part of growth and learning. Candidate must be director-qualified in the state of Colorado upon hiring. - Knowledge of the PDIS Colorado Shines platform and credentialing system
- Familiarity with Licensing and Health Department guidelines for childcare centers
- Excellent communication skills
- Certification in child CPR or willingness to obtain
