Essential Functions
Performs specific tasks under direct supervision of a registered nurse within the established policies and procedures for the Nursing Department at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
- Demonstrates accountability for assigned patients on shift or assignment.
- Performs vital signs measurement: temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure and pulse oximetry readings.
- Records on patient chart.
- Monitors intake and output.
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

- A student currently enrolled in an accredited baccalaureate college of nursing who has completed at least 1 semester of a med/surg clinical rotation
- AHA BLS required
