Cell Phone Repair Technician

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Level 2 Cellular Hardware Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for technology, strong technical skills, and the ability to produce high quality repair work in a depot environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Perform screen replacements, battery swaps, and other common repairs on various Cell Phone models.
• Replace malfunctioning cameras to restore photo and video functionality.
• Replace damaged or broken back covers on certain phone models.
• Diagnose and address hardware issues, including charging port problems, button and switch malfunctions, and speaker/microphone issues.
• Conduct basic water damage repairs and apply appropriate diagnostic tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues, ensuring devices operate smoothly.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify the underlying cause of hardware and software issues, such as no power devices.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and communicate effectively.
• Meeting high output repairs with daily quotas.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Level 2 Cellular Hardware Repair Technician in a Depot Repair Environment is a must. Retail only repair techs need not apply.
• Ability and previous experience with daily quotas that produced high-output repairs within a depot repair environment.
• Solid understanding of Cell Phone hardware, software, and operating systems, primarily working with Samsung products.
• Proficient in screen replacements, battery swaps, and common hardware repairs.
• Experience in diagnosing and addressing charging port, button, switch, and speaker/microphone issues.
• Familiarity with basic water damage repair techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for software-related issues.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication and not afraid to ask questions.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality repairs.
• Adaptable to changes in technology and repair processes.

Adaptability:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic depot environment, with a focus on the unique challenges posed by Samsung and Apple Phone Repairs.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certifications in Cell Phone Repair or related fields are highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
