WSP is currently initiating a search for a CEI Inspector Aide for our Pensacola, FL office. The following locations will also be considered: Pensacola, FL and Ft. Walton Beach, FL . Be involved in projects with our FDOT District 3 CEI Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

- Inspecting/Monitoring contractors earthwork operations
- Inspecting maintenance of traffic devices
- Inspecting/Monitoring contractors concrete pours
- Inspecting/Monitoring contractors asphalt paving operations
- Inspecting/Monitoring contractors drainage installation operations
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED equivalent with math background.
- Entry level position. No experience or certifications are required.
- General awareness of construction inspection principles, field inspection practices, process, methods and techniques.
- General awareness of relevant construction codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a technical and non-technical audience.
- Effective self-leadership with attention to detail, ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instruction, and comply with company policies.
- Ability to work independently under supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
- Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
- Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
- Must successfully complete and pass WSP's Motor Vehicle screening.
