Job Title: Class B - CDL Operator
Department: Shipping
Shift: 1st
Hourly Rate: $22+
The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience, problem solving skills, excellent communication skills and a desire to learn. To move trailers safely as directed from manufacturing facility to offsite warehouses as well as storage lot.
Education: High School Diploma or GED *preferred*
Experience: Operating a single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds such as box trucks, large passenger buses , or dump trucks.
Responsibilities and/or Qualifications:
- Drop selected trailer in selected door as directed.
- Make short run local deliveries as directed.
- Keep an onsite trailer list.
- Ability to operate tractor/spotter unit safely and efficiently.
- Must have a valid Class A CDL.
- To operate equipment safely and timely.
- Drop the right trailer in the right door.
- Fill in on forklift as needed.
- Clean Shipping and trailers as needed.
- Performs various other job duties and projects as assigned.
