Cdl -Drivers - Street Sweeper Operator

C & S Sweeping Services, Inc. is currently seeking CDL Class A or B Street Sweepers and Dump Truck drivers for both day and night shifts at our Phoenix location.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, customer-oriented, adaptable/flexible, and detail oriented.

We encourage Military and newly trained drivers to apply.

We have local, short-term, and long-term out-of-town assignments available.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Valid CDL Class A or B drivers with air -brake endorsement (tanker endorsement preferred)

Acceptable driving record for the last 39 months

Two years experience OR an equivalent combination of driver training and experience.

Dump Truck and heavy equipment experience

Street Sweeper experience – Preferred

Proven safe work practices and operations

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Exposure to outside weather, including frequent hot and cold conditions, as well as exposure to fumes, vibrations, and airborne particles
• Noise level is usually moderate
• Requires the employee to sit, climb, bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• The work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts, so employees will be required to follow company-mandated safety requirements.
