What will I be doing as a CDL Driver?
- Ensure the proper equipment is safely secured and loaded during delivery and pickup.
- Delivery of parts and supplies between Leppo stores.
- Maintain daily logs, paperwork, and appropriate valid license to operate company vehicles.
- Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic rules and regulations.
- Maintain daily logs, vehicle inspection reports, pre/post inspection, and ensure the safe operation of your vehicle.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Advise management of any unsafe conditions and ensure that vehicles are properly maintained (annual, frequent inspections).
- Ensure proper signatures and documents are obtained during delivery and pickup.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while interacting with the customer.
- Familiarize customers with the safe operation of equipment.
- Work closely with dispatch to ensure the correct items are being delivered to the correct job sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record
- High School Diploma
- Clearinghouse completion of FMCSA
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
