Cdl Class A Or B Residential Waste Driver

CLASS CDL A AND B RESIDENTIAL WASTE HAULER

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
• Safely drive and operate a commercial motor vehicle according to the work rules while also abiding by all local, state, and federal laws.
• Drive municipal waste or recyclable materials from the transfer station to the disposal facility and dispose of the load.
• Maintain a courteous and cordial manner with all customers encountered on the route.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, lift/carry required.
• The ability to lift/carry up to 75lbs. is required.
• This job is performed in and out of the truck. Employees are subject to weather elements daily; i.e. heat, sun, rain, snow, wind, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Class A or B CDL
• Current DOT physical
• Be able to successfully complete drug and alcohol screen
• Be able to successfully pass road test
• Must possess a good track record of on-time deliveries and reliability
• No DUI, OWI, reckless driving, or other major moving violations with in last 3 years
• Less than 2 instances in any 12 month period
• Less than 3 instances in any 36 month period (An instance is a moving violation or preventable accident)
• No more than 1 preventable accident in any 36 month period
