Duties:
- Sort and organize mail for delivery routes
- Load and unload mail from vehicles
- Drive assigned route to deliver mail to residential and commercial addresses
- Collect outgoing mail from collection boxes and post offices
- Obtain signatures for registered, certified, and insured mail
- Return undeliverable mail to post office
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive various vehicles including box trucks, refrigerated trailers, vans, tractor-trailers, etc.
- Experience in warehouse or moving industry preferred
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Please note that this position requires physical stamina as it involves lifting and carrying heavy mail sacks, walking long distances, and working in various weather conditions.
