Job Duties
Southeastern Virginia Training Center is seeking a part time Administrative and Office Specialist III (CBORD SPECIALIST) to provide support helping the Food Service Department meet the dietary needs of the residents by continuing to develop CBORD into a fully functioning system, and maintaining its working components. The CBORD software application database is used to maintain an operational meal food list containing a 21-day meal cycle that produces food tickets and other diet reports for residents.
The job will be responsible for maintaining all daily functions of the system to include all new and current admissions card files, diet orders, allergies, dislikes, menus, reports, tray tickets, and updates to all databases. Also responsible for running census reports as needed, maintaining and producing menus and bread/milk tallies as needed, Security and end of the day maintenance settings. Point of contact for C-BORD support, and responsible for having printed production tallies for the following week available no later than 8 am on Thursdays.
Will work in support of the Dietitian on updates to diets, food compliances, compliance spreadsheets, menus, recipe content and all things nutritional. Assist supervisors as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Must be capable of learning and utilizing functions of electronic computing system - email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and proficient in C-BOARD system.
Additional Considerations
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse clientele to include individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities
• Previous experience working with the C-Board System
