Coffman Engineers' Anchorage office is seeking a self-motivated, creative, Cathodic Protection Technician who would like to work and grow as a team player within our multi-discipline firm. This position offers flexible schedule options for either full or seasonal work. The successful individual will have a strong work ethic as well as experience collaborating in a team environment.
Responsibilities May Include:

Coffman Engineers' Anchorage office is seeking a self-motivated, creative, Cathodic Protection Technician who would like to work and grow as a team player within our multi-discipline firm. This position offers flexible schedule options for either full or seasonal work. The successful individual will have a strong work ethic as well as experience collaborating in a team environment.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Performing Cathodic Protection Surveys for various structures (pipelines, docks, etc.)
- Performing Close Interval Surveys
- Assisting with Internal Corrosion Evaluations & Monitoring
- Locating pipelines and performing depth of cover surveys
- Atmospheric Corrosion Control Inspections
- Preparing technical reports
This position is not eligible for sponsorship. This position is on-site, in person.
Qualifications
Requirements Include:
- NACE CP2 Technician certification or greater required
- 2 years minimum of Cathodic Protection experience is required
- College degree preferred
- Oil and gas, department of defense (DOD), and water/wastewater Cathodic Protection experience preferred
- Ability to perform domestic and international travel, perform extended field work, and work overtime
- Exceptional organization, writing and communication skills
- Competency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driver's license and driving record that meets Coffman's stringent requirements
- Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) or eligibility to obtain a TWIC
