We are seeking a FT Cath Lab Technologist to support a medical center in Anchorage, AK.

Day Shift
Job Summary:
Assists cardiovascular Physicians in performing and completing invasive, interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable in Vascular, Cardiac, and Pediatric Procedural practice as well as emergent techniques/protocol.
- Assists in Quality Control checks/Quality Improvement Program.
- Performs all duties in a manner which promotes the "team" concept and reflects the sisters of the hospital's mission and philosophy.
- Able to observe hospital and departmental policies on confidentiality.
- Patients served range from neonates to senior citizens.
Qualifications:
Education:
- H.S. Diploma or GED (required)
- Associate degree from an accredited school with supervised clinical experience in invasive Cardiovascular, and/or Interventional Radiological procedures (preferred)
Required:
- Must have 1 year direct work experience in Cardiovascular, and/or Interventional Radiological procedures as a Cardiovascular Technologist.National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred:
- Special Procedures/Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist experience
