Cardiac Cath Lab RN needed in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

Qualifications:

• Current nursing license in the state of practice.
• Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or Cardiovascular Nursing (CVN) preferred.
• Previous experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or critical care setting.
• Knowledge of Cath Lab procedures, equipment, and sterile technique.

Responsibilities:

1. Patient Assessment and Monitoring:

   • Conduct thorough pre-procedure assessments of patients scheduled for catheterization procedures.
   • Monitor vital signs and assess patient status during Cath Lab procedures, providing timely intervention as needed.

2. Procedure Assistance:

   • Collaborate with the healthcare team to assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, and angioplasties.
   • Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and assist physicians as they perform invasive cardiovascular procedures.
