Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Four 12-hour shifts per wee
- Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- On-Call Requirement: Yes, including STEMI call, with 9-11 shifts within a 6-week schedule.
- Float Opportunity: Yes, to CathLab/EP at the Issaquah campus.
- Weekend Coverage: On-call duty, which includes 3 weekend shifts and is integrated as part of the 9-11 call shifts within the 6-week schedule
Job Summary: Cath Lab RN (Registered Nurse)
As a Cath Lab RN (Registered Nurse), you play a vital role in the healthcare team within a specialized and dynamic environment. Your mission is centered around cardiac catheterization and various interventional procedures to diagnose and treat heart-related conditions. In this high-tech and fast-paced setting, your responsibility is to provide patient care, monitor, and assist in life-saving procedures, making you a key player in enhancing patients' cardiac health.
Responsibilities:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Cath Lab, including assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and well-being during procedures.
Administer medications, monitor patients, and maintain sterile fields.
Assist with the preparation and recovery of patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
Patient Diagnoses: 40% Inpatient, 60% Outpatient
Conditions: Heart block, CAD, CHF, Tachycardia
Special procedures in Cardioversion / Defibrillation LVAD Obtain 12 Lead EKG Sheath Removal Post-Op, Pre-Op EP Lab, Interventional, Pre/Post, Procedural
The team consists of four members, including two Registered Nurses (RNs) and two Technicians (Techs).
Requirements:
- 2 years Cath Lab Experience Required: Candidates must have prior Cath Lab experience. We do not accept individuals with only Interventional Radiology (IR) experience.
- Cath Lab experience is mandatory.
- Experience with IABP and Impella and patient recovery experience
- First time travelers, Can submit with pending WA license, FREE LYFT rides provided to travelers in the event they have to float.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an active RN license.
- Prior Cath Lab experience is essential; IR experience alone will not be considered.
- Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and NCLA (Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission License) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while providing exceptional patient care.
