- Are you an experienced Retail Store Clerk that has at least 1-2 years of experience
and who is tired of working on Sunday's and Holiday's? Then Catawba County ABC Board may be where you need to be! We operate 12 retail stores in Catawba County and one in Taylorsville our hours are Monday - Saturday 10AM - 9PM. Off (7) major Holiday's and also every Sunday! The ideal candidate must be available to work in any of our other 12 great stores if the need arises. We would really like to find a candidate who is willing to travel to Taylorsville some days.
Some of the things our Store Clerk's are expected to do: Provide excellent Customer Service, collect cash, checks, or charge payments, balance cash drawers, run a POS Cash Register. We also expect our store to maintain an excellent standard of cleanliness both inside and out. You will also be expected to maintain appropriate stock levels, assist in ordering products, and reviewing price sheets. Work with our team in offloading trucks and transfers and provide inventory control. Keeping shelves stocked is a big part of the daily duties in our stores.

So, what do we look for in that perfect candidate? Current retail experience at least 1-2 years , more is even better! Excellent customer Service! To work in an ABC Store you much be at least 21 years of age, able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10# and frequently lift and/or move up to 40#. It is important that you are willing to go to any of our 12 great stores to work, so good transportation is important. Also, able to work during any of the hours we are open so a flexible work schedule will be a must.
This is a full-time position at 40 hours / week, and you may be required to work by yourself at times.
Hourly Pay is: $15.71-$16 per hour
