Job Purpose:
The Casting Coordinator will provide administrative support to the EVP, Casting & Talent Development within Universal Content Productions a division of Universal Studio Group and serve as office liaison communicating with internal NBCU divisions as well as the external business and creative community.
Essential Responsibilities:
- General administrative duties including but not limited to: answering telephones, coordinating meetings and conference calls, prepare and maintain necessary materials for meetings and calls, filing and coordinating travel
- Maintain internal talent database, tracking documents, production schedules, cast lists, master lists and all other casting related documents for all shows
- Interface with all levels of NBCU as well as assist in communication with talent agencies, management companies, casting directors and the creative community at large on a daily basis
- Edit and upload actor materials such as auditions, demos, etc via iMovie, Cast-It, Eco Cast, Final Cut Pro, Quicktime
- Perform talent research
- Cover for other assistants as needed
- Perform other related duties as required by management, special projects as assigned
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience within studio, network, production, or agency
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook)
- PC and Mac proficient

- Passionate about casting
- Be flexible, personable and have excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Extremely detail-oriented self-starter with excellent administrative and organizational skills
